Supreme Court Accepts Scheme Formulated By CBSE ICSE For Evaluation Of CLASS XII Students, Asks Them To Incorporate Dispute Resolution Mechanism And Timeline For Optional Exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) panel on Thursday submitted its evaluation criteria for awarding grades or marks for class 12th examinations before the Supreme Court.
The board has decided to declare the results for class 12th by July 31, 2021.
As per the finalised marking scheme, CBSE Class 12 students will be assessed based on their marks in Class 10 (30% – based on best performing 3 subs), 11 (30% – final exam) and 12 (40% -based on unit test/mid-term/Pre-board).
CBSE to adopt 30:30:40 formula for evaluation of Class12 marks; to declare result by July 31.
CBSE’s Class 12 assessment plan as submitted in SC. Result will be on the performance in classes 10th, 11th & 12th.
30% Marks – Best of 3 of Class 10th result
30% Marks – Class 11 final exams
40% Marks – Class 12 Mid term/ Pre board exams
CBSE to declare final result by July 31.
